Learn About Me
I am a current junior at the University of Maryland - College Park studying Computer Science with a concentration in Machine Learning and minors in Math, Global Poverty, and Global Terrorism. I have a strong interest in utilizing my technical background in order to drive necessary changes to improve national security and address issues and struggles that poverty creates.
What I do
Technica is the World's Largest Hackathon for Under-represented genders that takes place at the University of Maryland. The purpose of the hackathon is to create a safe space for people of minority genders to learn more about computer science, explore the field, and meet like minded individuals. For the last 2 years I have been in charge of coordinating mentors and volunteers for the event.
Learn MoreBitcamp is a 36 hour hackathon at University of Maryland. As a member of the expereince team, I work to ensure hackers and participants have a fun and enjoyable expereince. Furthermore, I work with organizing opening and closing ceremonies, swag shipments, and events for day of operations.
Learn MoreModel Congress is a student organization on campus that aims to put on model congress conferences for high school students in the DMV area. The conferences are opportunities for High School students to learn more about congress and the process of creating legislation. For the last 2 years I have been in charge of coordinating the conference and workshops for the conference.
Learn MoreAs a Co-Education Coordinator, I help with organizing the STIC courses at the University of Maryland. STIC courses are student taught courses under various departments within the university. I help with the organization and faciliation of these courese and encourage netowrking as well.
